Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship

Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interacting with internal or external customers.

PLEASE NOTE: This apprenticeship is delivered within the workplace, so it is potentially available across the Activate Learning College regions of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey. Please enquire for further details.

Advanced apprentices may work in roles such as administration executives/officers, administration team leaders, personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.

The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. The business administrator is also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.

PLEASE NOTE: This qualification will be delivered in the workplace with ongoing support from a dedicated workplace assessor.

 

You will have the opportunity to develop core skills, such as:

Our programme can be tailored to your requirements, for example, to cope with peak periods or seasonal demand.

Typically our Level 3 Business Administration programme lasts between 12–18 months.

You could progress to other apprenticeships/ leadership and management or other pathways.

To complete the apprenticeship you must pass level
2 English, maths and ICT (or have the appropriate exemption
certificate).

The qualification will be delivered in the workplace with ongoing
support from a dedicated workplace assessor.

On completion of the Apprenticeship the apprentice will be able to undertake the full range of duties, in the range of circumstances
appropriate to the job, confidently and competently to the
standard set by the industry.
