Aldershot Town Football Club (The Shots) and Merrist Wood College have partnered to offer you an outstanding learning and training environment designed to help you achieve your best. This programme is an excellent opportunity for school leavers to continue full-time education while enhancing their football skills.

Our 2-year programme incorporates our Sports L3 National Extended Diploma course. The programme offers training for both boys and girls and welcomes players of all abilities, providing a quality football experience focused on personal growth. Suitable for those looking for extra practice alongside their grassroots teams or as an introduction to football, the training covers technical, tactical, and social skills, challenging players at every level to reach their potential.

The ultimate goal of the program is to provide a clear pathway to higher education, scholarship opportunities, a career in the sports industry, or progression into our senior team. 

Aldershot Town Football Club is committed to providing all those who are interested, no matter whether they have been playing football for years, or are kicking a ball for the first time, the opportunity to engage in a positive football experience that helps them to develop their skills or helps them grow their love for the game.
