Merrist Wood College invites you to attend our upcoming Open Event!

About this event

This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like! Our college will be open for you to explore and will give you the opportunity to:

  • Apply for September 2027.
  • Speak with tutors in areas like animal management, countryside management, equine studies, sport, public services, horticulture, arboriculture, and landscaping.
  • Tour our Animal Management facilities, including desert and tropical biomes, and hear from specialists.
  • Explore our modern equine yard, indoor and outdoor arenas, and meet our equine team.
  • Check out our state-of-the-art gym and sports facilities.
  • Tour our Ofsted-rated student accommodation during the event.
  • Meet our friendly Careers Advisors and Admissions team for guidance.
  • Attend the “Welcome to our College” presentations at 10am and 11am and hear more about our 400-acre campus
  • Discover apprenticeship and Higher Education options, and tour our Higher Education centre.
  • Try out activities in our Learning Environment, including VR demonstrations.
  • Get advice on improving your English skills and learn about our support services for additional needs.

FAQs

All you need when you arrive is your QR code which can be found in your confirmation email. Please have this ready for scanning when you arrive. 

You can bring as many people with you as you like! You only need 1 ticket per party. 

We do accept walk ins. You will simply have to give us your details when you arrive then you will be able to tour the campus!

Parking will be available on-site. You will NOT need to register your vehicle for this event.

After you’ve viewed our campus, you can apply! Our admissions team will be at the event to complete the process with you immediately or apply online when you get home.
